Dr. Miana Graves is a distinguished member of the Synergistic Solutions team, bringing a wealth of expertise in serving high-performance populations. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force, a licensed clinical psychologist, and a consultant with diverse professional experience.

​

Dr. Graves specializes in mental health and performance consulting, serving athletes and business professionals. Her extensive portfolio includes work with clients across high school, collegiate, and professional sports, as well as corporate leaders in legal, medical, and business sectors. Dr. Graves has also provided professional consultation services to the military, construction executives, and the University of Houston Athletics Department. Her performance services include motivation enhancement, managing performance anxiety, facilitating return-to-sport after injury, and supporting transitions out of athletic or corporate roles.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Graves is dedicated to personal and professional growth. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally, all of which provide depth to her diverse world and cultural view. Lastly, she enjoys a consistent Ashtanga yoga and weight training routine to maintain balance.

Dr. Graves earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She also holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Education from Loma Linda University and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of North Texas. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Graves served as a Space Operations Officer in the United States Air Force for six years, gaining critical leadership and operational experience. After completing an intensive Executive Training program, she transitioned to a corporate leadership role before pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Her training in Houston, one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the United States, allowed her to work with clients from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, refining her ability to

address diverse client needs effectively.
