​A former Division I collegiate athlete, Stephanie is a passionate advocate for student-athletes and coaches.  Her career in sports was heavily influenced by her time in semi-professional football in Texas where she served as the Assistant General Manager.  This experience instilled in her a deep desire to ensure that every collegiate athlete not only achieved their sport and academic goals, but also grew as individuals. Stephanie is an accomplished administrator with over 10 years of experience at the collegiate level.

 

With over a decade of experience in collegiate athletics, Stephanie’s career focus has been on student-athlete development and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She has extensive experience creating, implementing, facilitating, and assessing DEI and leadership workshops for staff, coaches, and students. Stephanie has also demonstrated a strong track record of student development and effective mentorship  As a former sport administrator, Stephanie believes in the holistic well-being of student-athletes and coaches is tantamount to creating a winning culture and inclusive environment.

Stephanie received her Doctorate of Education from Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. There she successfully defended her dissertation titled, Women and Leadership: The Impact of Collegiate Athletics on Leader Identity Development and Attainment of Leadership Positions. She graduated in 2019 having earned the Dissertation of Distinction from the University of Southern California. She also earned her Masters of Business Administration from the Warsaw Sports Center at the Lundquist School of Business at the University of Oregon. Prior, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas in Sports Management.
